On selected Wednesdays, we roll into Otonga and smash out a strictly limited run of the best burger you’ll eat all week — then we’re gone until next Wednesday. Miss it, miss it.

Why we’re doing this

We already run a busy catering company here in Rotorua, feeding weddings and events week in, week out. Smash Society is our chance to do something different: build something incredible, something worth waiting for, a burger like no other in Rotorua.

Service is fun, family and community-centred — pull up, grab your order, hang around and chat. We’re keeping the numbers small on purpose. 60 burgers a week means every single one gets our full attention. No shortcuts, no mass-produced nonsense — just something genuinely worth looking forward to.

The line-up

•  Double Smash — NZ grass-fed brisket & chuck blend, American cheese, house-made burger sauce, bacon jam, McClure’s pickles, potato bun
•  Korean Chicken — crispy gochujang-glazed chicken thigh, garlic aioli, pickled daikon, fresh slaw, toasted brioche
•  Single Smash — the classic, single patty, perfect for the kids or the nostalgic purists
•  Fancy Smash — cheddar, tomato, lettuce, still filthy in all the right ways

How it works

Ordering opens every Thursday through our app. Pick your slot, lock in your burgers, done — no queue anxiety, no missing out because you got stuck at work. Walk-ups welcome too, while stock lasts (it won’t last).
